Zuffa Boxing announced a multi-fight promotional contract with WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames on 13 October 2026. The release, reproduced by Vegas Sports Today, said details of his debut would follow.
Adames, 32, brought a record of 25–1–1 with 18 knockouts to the signing. He was unbeaten in seven fights since moving to middleweight in 2021 and had made three defences of his WBC championship.
The deal adds an established champion to Zuffa’s 160 lb roster. It does not, by itself, confirm his next opponent, a unification or a date. The announcement also does not disclose a contract value.
