No Limit Boxing says Tim Tszyu’s challenge to WBA middleweight champion Erislandy Lara has been signed. FightsATW reported the promoter’s announcement on 13 October 2026.
The same announcement left the date, city, venue, ticketing and broadcast details for a later release. The agreement is news; a completed event schedule is not yet part of that announcement.
At the time of the report, Tszyu’s record stood at 28–3 with 18 knockouts, and Lara’s at 32–3–3 with 19 knockouts. Lara brings the difficult movement and timing; Tszyu wants to turn that problem into a more physical fight.
Status in our 14 October briefing: signed according to the promoter, with event details pending. We are not treating an estimated month or year as an official date. Added to the website on 17 October.
