Frazer Clarke said Joseph Parker was among the names put to him for a possible 11 December appearance on the Fury–Joshua undercard. BoxingScene’s 26 October account, citing his interview with The Sun, also records that he had heard little more about it.
A fighter accepting an idea is not a contract announcement. That was the status in our 28 October edition.
Follow-up, 30 October: The Ring subsequently reported that Dubois–Parker was being explored for January. These are separate reported possibilities. Neither report proves that Parker–Clarke was signed or that a signed bout was cancelled.
