Erislandy Lara is scheduled to defend his WBA middleweight title against Tim Tszyu on 12 December 2026 in Australia. PBC’s official calendar also lists Jermell Charlo–Brock Jarvis on the card.
Lara is 43; Tszyu is 32. The matchup gives Tszyu a chance at a world title in a new division, against a champion whose southpaw timing makes the distance difficult to close.
Our earlier report recorded the signed matchup before the date was available. The calendar now supplies that missing detail.
